Maybe not quite strictly rock but I like the Warriors.

Also like The Metal Years. I still laugh when I see the arrogance of some of the people. Wonder what happened to some of them. McDonalds?

I also like the Bad News films. Brilliant.

Rockstar - this movie is so dead on it's a bit scary. i loved when it came out and people were complaining because they thought it made fun of the 80's and the band lifestyle. they were not making fun of it, it was really that ridiculous.

Josie and the Pussycats (the movie)- hey, i liked it, what can i say. the theme song rocks as well.

The Thing Called Love - i know it's not rock but it is still a great movie.

Almost Famous - i enjoyed this one as well "hold me closer tiny dancer" i love old elton john songs.

The School of Rock - good movie even though i despise Jack Black

Sid and Nancy - call me trendy, i don't care. (is this considered a rock movie?)

Badsville - pretty decent movie in a Decline kinda way only current

Does "Airheads" count as a rock movie??

I'd agree with:
Spinal Tap
Decline Of WC II
Sid & Nancy

Kiss Meets The Phantom will always hold a place in my little Kiss Army heart, but it was an AWFUL movie.
There aren't many good rock movies at all, are there?

The scene in Rockstar where he gets kicked out of the band cracked me right up.

Creeper, you've got to be joking about School of Rock?.....I almost shut that one down 3/4 of the way through.

I forgot about Sid & Nancy, that was a great movie.

Does anyone remember a really cheesy TV movie called "Cotton Candy" with Charles Martin Smith? That movie was hilarious.

I'm surprised no one else has Hedwig on their list. As the music was done by an actual sleaze/glam musician. Angry Inch is an awesome song.

Dude i tried Hedwig a couple of times it just kept losing me. I just couldn't watch it. i know i have the attention span of a goldfish but i can usually make through a movie after a couple tries but i just couldn't make it through Hedwig.

i liked School of Rock, i forget when i watched it, maybe it was a boring saturday afternoon so i thought that it was a good movie. you know the old, it's a good movie if you have nothing better to do on a saturday afternoon and your bored kind of movie. kinda like shawn of the dead.

did anyone watch that movie that was just on the disney family channel? (i think it was that channel) i forget the name but it's the one where the guy is all business like now but gets an offer to reform his band from the 80's who used to be the biggest hair band of the day. tries to do it without anyone knowing who he is beneath the make up. anyone?
